Population Connection Action Fund, the political arm of Population Connection and America’s population movement, announced today its endorsement of Ann McLane Kuster (D-NH) for reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives. Rep. Kuster earned a 100 percent score on the Action Fund’s 2015-2016 Congressional Report Card.
“Population Connection Action Fund is proud to endorse Ann Kuster, a strong advocate for women’s reproductive rights, for reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives,” said John Seager, president of Population Connection Action Fund.
Having consistently voted on the right side of women’s reproductive health issues, Rep. Kuster is dedicated to protecting women’s access to safe abortions, contraceptives and family planning. She has opposed efforts to allow bosses to dictate the reproductive health choices of their employees and to deny health care to the millions of women who rely on Planned Parenthood clinics. She is also a co-sponsor of Women’s Health Protection Act which prevented several limitations on access to abortion.
Rep. Kuster has stated: “In Congress, I will always fight to ensure that a woman’s private health-care decisions remain between her and her medical providers, without the interference of politicians.”
”Since arriving on Capitol Hill, Congresswoman Kuster has been steadfast in her support for women – and girls – seeking to choose their own destinies. We are proud to stand with her in her campaign for another term in the House,” Seager said.
