Statement on Trump Administration's FY26 budget

For immediate release

The budget released by the White House today is an embarrassment. It’s little more than a repetition of all of Trump’s many grievances. It’s like he thinks budget day is Festivus.

But his list of grievances comes with funding cuts that will cause grievous harm to vulnerable people across the country and around the world. The pain he is seeking to inflict is simply disgraceful. This nonsense should be rejected out of hand while Congress gets to work building a federal government that works for everyone.
